Thamma Day 2: Ayushmann-Rashmika Film Hits ₹50 Cr

Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s horror comedy Thamma continues to shine at the box office. After a powerful Diwali opening, the film maintained its strong performance on Day 2, crossing ₹50 crore worldwide.

On its first day, Thamma collected ₹24 crore net in India. Despite a slow start on Wednesday morning, the film picked up pace in the evening and earned another ₹18 crore net, showing only a 25% drop after the festive day. This brings its total domestic collection to ₹42 crore net (₹50 crore gross).

Overseas, the film made over $400k, taking its worldwide total to nearly ₹55 crore after two days. While it didn’t open big internationally due to mid-week releases, collections are expected to rise over the weekend.

With these numbers, Thamma has already surpassed the lifetime collections of Roohi (₹31 crore) and Dhadak 2 (₹40 crore). The film is now on track to cross the ₹100 crore mark by the weekend.

Thamma is part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU), connected with Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya.
