Last night in Mumbai, Shah Rukh Khan proudly introduced his son Aryan Khan as a director at the grand preview of Aryan’s debut show, The Ba**ds of Bollywood*.
It was a star-studded event filled with actors, filmmakers, and fans. Aryan impressed everyone not just with his humble personality but also with his fresh, raw, and edgy storytelling.
The show stars Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol, and Raghav Juyal in key roles, with fun cameos by Karan Johar, Salman Khan, and Ranveer Singh. But the highlight of the preview was a jail scene where the dialogue— “Tension nahi lene ka, andar jaake log aur bhi famous ho jaate hain”— had fans convinced Aryan was cleverly referencing his own past. Immediately after, the screen revealed “Written and Directed by Aryan Khan”— a truly iconic moment!
Fans on social media couldn’t stop praising Aryan’s debut work:
From the casting to the background score, audiences felt everything looked top-notch. Many even said Aryan’s work didn’t feel like a debut at all.
With so much excitement, all eyes are now on September 18, when The Ba**ds of Bollywood* officially premieres on Netflix.
