“Bhumi-Ishaan’s Rom-Com The Royals Sparks Buzz”

Bhumi Pednekar and Ishaan Khatter are ready to bring a royal love story to the screen! Their first project together, The Royals, is a romantic comedy that mixes old-school royalty with the new-age world of startups. The show will stream soon on Netflix.

What The Royals Is About

The Royals tells the story of a prince and a self-made woman. Ishaan plays the prince, and he shared that shooting at the real City Palace in Udaipur helped him feel like real royalty.

Bhumi plays Sophia, a woman who has worked hard to become successful. She represents the new royalty of India — the startup founders and entrepreneurs. In the story, Sophia enters the world of old-time royal traditions and faces many surprises.
