Great news for fans of Blood of Zeus! The animated fantasy series is back for Season 3, and we now know its release date: May 8, 2025!
The show reimagines classic Greek mythology through the eyes of Heron, a demigod, and has already gained a lot of attention with its first two seasons in 2020 and 2024. Now, in Season 3, expect more epic action, gigantic monsters, and intense battles.
The trailer opens with Gaia, the goddess of Earth, warning, “Prosperity fosters weak gods who then create hard times,” hinting at the chaos ahead. The big bad for this season is Cronos, Zeus’s father, voiced by Alfred Molina. It’s shaping up to be an intense, action-packed finale.
The season promises a clash between different groups of gods and a journey to the underworld. While Netflix hasn’t confirmed how many episodes there will be, Season 3 is expected to follow the usual eight-episode format.
