“Doctor Who S2 Ep1 Clip: Mrs. Flood’s Secret”

The new season of Doctor Who is here! Starting this Saturday, April 12, new episodes will stream every week on Disney+ (worldwide) and on the BBC (UK). There will be 8 episodes in total.

• Ep 1: The Robot Revolution – April 12
• Ep 2: Lux – April 19
• Ep 3: The Well – April 26
• Ep 4: Lucky Day – May 3
• Ep 5: The Story & the Engine – May 10
• Ep 6: The Interstellar Song Contest – May 17
• Ep 7: Wish World – May 24
• Ep 8: The Reality War – May 31

Who’s Returning?

• Ncuti Gatwa is back as the Doctor.
• Millie Gibson returns as Ruby Sunday (in a smaller role).
• The new main companion is Belinda Chandra, played by Varada Sethu.

Each episode has its own story, but there’s also a bigger plot running through the season.

Fans are especially excited about:

• “The Interstellar Song Contest” – a fun parody of Eurovision, but in space!
• “The Robot Revolution” – which might touch on real-life tech and AI themes.
• “The Reality War” – sounds like a big, action-packed finale.

What Season Number Is This?

That’s a bit tricky.

• If you count from the original 1960s show: it’s Season 41.
• If you count from the 2005 reboot: it’s Season 15.
• But the showrunner, Russell T Davies, calls it Season 2 for the new era.

Let’s just call it the new season of Doctor Who. And it all starts April 12!
