Netflix’s new period drama House of Guinness, created by Steven Knight (the mastermind behind Peaky Blinders), premiered on September 25. The eight-episode series follows the lives of Sir Benjamin Guinness’s four adult children—Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben—after his death. His will decides what each child inherits, but none are satisfied, leading to drama and conflict.
While Netflix hasn’t officially confirmed season 2, creator Steven Knight has dropped strong hints. He shared in interviews that he wants the story to continue into the 20th century. At a screening in Dublin, he told fans:
“Yes, of course. We are going to do seasons two, and three, and four. Yes absolutely, we are going to do this all the way to the 1960s.”
Steven Knight is eager to bring the story forward, and Anthony Boyle, who plays Arthur Guinness, has expressed excitement about returning for another season. The cast seems ready to continue the saga if Netflix greenlights it.
Fans can look forward to more family drama, inheritance battles, and historical storytelling if House of Guinness continues.
