Michelle Buteau is back as Mavis Beaumont in Survival of the Thickest Season 2, and this time, she’s off to Rome! In the trailer, Mavis shouts from a hotel window, “If you liked Emily in Paris, you’re going to love Mavis in Rome!”
The second season of the Netflix rom-com premieres on March 27, 2025. The eight-episode comedy follows Mavis, a newly single woman trying to build her career as a fashion stylist while searching for love.
The teaser shows Mavis working hard to grow her brand. At one point, she excitedly tells her friends, “We’re going to be in Harper’s Bazaar!” But success doesn’t come easy, and she faces plenty of ups and downs along the way.
Returning cast members include Tone Bell as Khalil and Tasha Smith as Marley alongside Buteau.
