Old Ghost Rider Movie Coming Soon To Netflix

Netflix is bringing back the 2012 Marvel movie Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance this October. The film stars Nicolas Cage as Johnny Blaze, a stuntman who becomes the fiery Ghost Rider. Other cast members include Ciarán Hinds, Violante Placido, Idris Elba, and Johnny Whitworth. The story follows Blaze as he teams up with a secret group to protect a boy from evil forces.

This movie is the sequel to the 2007 Ghost Rider film and was shot in Romania and Turkey. It has darker visuals and a grittier feel. The production cost about $57 million, less than the first film’s $110 million. The movie earned $132.5 million worldwide but received low ratings from critics.

After this film, Nicolas Cage said he was done playing Ghost Rider, and a third movie was never made. The character later returned in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series as Robbie Reyes.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance will be available on Netflix October 1, 2025, along with other movies like the Austin Powers trilogy, Beverly Hills Cop, Elysium, and Hacksaw Ridge. This addition gives Marvel fans a darker story to enjoy this October.
