September 2025: New K-Dramas & Films To Watch

Netflix is bringing a big lineup of K-dramas and films this September. Fans can expect action, crime, romance, and emotional stories with some of the biggest Korean stars. Here’s what’s coming:

Mantis

The biggest release is Mantis, a Netflix Original movie and sequel to Kill Boksoon. Starring Yim Si Wan, Park Gyu Young, and Jo Woo Jin, it arrives on September 26. The story follows a top assassin who returns from vacation only to find chaos in the killer world. Old rivals return, leading to a dangerous fight for power.

You and Everything Else

Premiering on September 12, this emotional 15-episode melodrama stars Kim Go Eun and Park Ji Hyun. The story is about two women—lifelong rivals turned complicated friends. One of them, facing a terminal illness, asks the other to join her on a final journey. Expect lots of tears and heartfelt moments.

Queen Mantis

Starting on September 5, this crime thriller will drop new episodes weekly. It stars Go Hyun Jung and Jang Dong Yoon. The plot follows a woman infamous for killing five men years ago. Now, her son, a police officer, must face both her dark past and a new copycat killer.

Other Dramas Wrapping Up

  • Beyond the Bar – ending September 7, a legal drama starring Lee Jin Wook and Jung Chae Yeon.
  • Bon Appétit, Your Majesty – closing on September 28, a fantasy romance about a modern chef (Lim Yoon A) who time-travels to the Joseon era and must cook for a king.

This September is one of the busiest months for K-drama fans, with something for every mood—action, romance, thrill, and fantasy.
