Apoorva Reveals Khushi Kapoor’s Words On Nadaaniyan Set

2025 has been a big year for content creator Apoorva Mukhija, also known as Rebel Kid. She started the year as a judge on India’s Got Latent with Samay Raina, then made her acting debut in the film Nadaaniyan alongside Khushi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan, and later appeared on Karan Johar’s reality show The Traitors.

Although some things she said on India’s Got Latent caused controversy, Apoorva’s performance in Nadaaniyan was praised. Many even compared her acting with lead star Khushi Kapoor.

In an interview with Indian Express, Apoorva talked about working with Khushi. She said:

“Khushi is one of the sweetest people I’ve met. She works really hard. On set, she told me, ‘I hope people start taking me seriously after this film.’ We used to shoot for 14–16 hours, and she still made time to go to the gym. That’s dedication. I really admired her work ethic.”

Apoorva also shared that she hangs out with Ibrahim Ali Khan and said both her co-stars were great to work with.

After the film’s release, Khushi and Ibrahim were trolled, and some people said Apoorva performed better. But Apoorva disagreed, saying this is because people are often biased against “nepo babies” (children of famous people). She added that Khushi did a great job in the film and deserves credit for her hard work.
