Veteran singer Asha Bhosle, at the age of 91, amazed everyone at the special screening of the classic film Umrao Jaan in Mumbai. She sang the famous song “Yeh Kya Jagah Hai Doston” from the movie, with actor Rekha standing beside her in support.
In a video from the event, Asha Bhosle can be seen singing on stage with Rekha and director Muzaffar Ali. As she struggled a bit with her voice, Rekha hugged her warmly from behind. Asha Bhosle even joked, “Mera gala daba rahi hai” (She’s choking me), which made Rekha laugh and the audience smile.
Despite her age, Asha Bhosle’s voice touched hearts. The audience cheered loudly and gave her lots of love.

The Umrao Jaan screening was filled with Bollywood stars like Rekha, Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor. The film will re-release in theatres on June 27.
