Is Paatal Lok heading for season 2?

Anuskha Sharma production Paatal Lok has hit a huge wave among the audience and the people are praising the entire cast of the series. Jaideep Ahlawat is being praised especially for his amazing role in the series and the fine acting done by the entire cast. But lately, the series has been in the news for the wrong reasons. The Gorkha community has taken legal action against the makers for a sexist slug directed towards their women.

Even though the season one of the show is facing some legal hurdles, actor Jaideep Ahlawat has hinted that the show will soon see a season 2. Jaideep hosted an #AskJaideep on Twitter, which is when he hinted towards ‘Paatal Lok’ season 2 and thats what got us curious. There were a lot of questions asked to Jaideep. “Working on it,” said the actor when a user asked, “#askJaideep Is there any sequel in line for #Paatalkal”

The season 1 of the show was praised profusely for acting by some of the characters played by Neeraj Kabi and Abhishek Banerjee. Anushka had also hosted a virtual party owing to the success of the release of the series.
