Randeep Hooda, who’s winning hearts with his villainous role in Jaat, just spilled some truth in an interview! He finally confirmed that his 2019 tweet calling someone an “occasional actor” was aimed at none other than Kangana Ranaut—after she called Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy performance “mediocre.”
Though Randeep and Kangana have worked together, he said they aren’t close friends. He stepped in to defend Alia because of their bond from Highway and said, “I didn’t like the idea of someone pulling others down to shine. It’s not right. I’ve faced unfairness too, but I choose to stay dignified.”
Randeep praised Kangana’s talent but made it clear—taking digs at others just doesn’t match her level. “She’s a brilliant actor, but those comments don’t suit her,” he added.
