Amid the backlash, Sajid’s wife, Warda Khan, shared positive reactions from Salman’s fans to defend the film. She posted a video on social media showing fans cheering in theaters and wrote, “Sikandar is ruling the hearts of fans.”
She also shared another video of a crowd outside a theater and captioned it with a saying that means, “Even if people wish you ill, only what is destined by God happens.” Another video showed fans dancing in cinemas, where she wrote, “A strong response from the audience.”
