Wild Wild Country Osho Netflix
Wild Wild County (WWC) is a series of 6 episode that aired on Netflix on 16th March, 2018. It was earlier premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The series revolves around the controversial spiritual guru, Bhagwan Shree Rajnesh. Popularly known as Osho, how he founded the Osho ashram and a sneak peek into the lives of the people who lived with him.
WWC is a series about the Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh and how he formed his community and brought it to what it is today. The makers of the series have kept a neutral view of the life of Osho and his followers and shown the side of the story of people who were against him as well .
The Osho ashram which now stands in Pune was initially started in a small place called Oregon. It started in Antelope where the population was a mere 40 people and that’s where the foundation of the Bhagwan took roots. The woman who stood by his side was Ma Anand Sheela who initially was a huge supporter of the Bhagwan and acted as her secretary for a duration where she defended the Bhagwan and stood for him against the media and the people.
It is a great show which will expose you to the roots of the Osho foundation and maybe intrigue you to find more about it. It is a definite watch if you are a fan of documentaries and looking for something interesting.
