Get ready to end February with love and nostalgia! Shah Rukh Khan’s hit movie Dil To Pagal Hai is coming back to the big screen. Yash Raj Films announced that the movie, also starring Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor, will be re-released in theatres on February 28.
YRF shared the news on Instagram, saying, “The era of pure romance and love is coming back to the theatres!” Fans are thrilled, with many sharing their excitement in the comments.
Directed by Yash Chopra, the movie was first released in 1997. It tells the story of three dancers—played by Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, and Karisma Kapoor—who find themselves in a love triangle. Akshay Kumar also made a special appearance. The movie won three National Awards for Best Entertainment, Best Supporting Actress (Karisma Kapoor), and Best Choreography (Shaimak Davar).
The film’s songs, sung by Lata Mangeshkar, are still loved today. Tracks like Dil To Pagal Hai, Bholi Si Surat, and Dholna are evergreen hits.
