‘Hum Tum’ Re-releases In Theatres On May 16

The much-loved romantic comedy ‘Hum Tum’, starring Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji, is all set to return to the big screen on May 16. The film, which first released in 2004, was directed by Kunal Kohli and became one of Bollywood’s most iconic love stories.

The story follows Karan, a cartoonist, and Rhea, as they meet on a flight. At first, they don’t get along, but fate keeps bringing them together, and slowly, love blooms between them. The film showed how two very different people can fall in love over time.

‘Hum Tum’ became a turning point in Saif Ali Khan’s career. His performance was not only loved by fans but also won him a National Award. Rani Mukerji also impressed with her emotional role.

The movie also featured Rishi Kapoor, Kirron Kher, Rati Agnihotri, and Abhishek Bachchan in important roles. Along with the beautiful story, the songs of ‘Hum Tum’ became very popular and are still loved today.

The film was partly inspired by the Hollywood classic ‘Annie Hall’ directed by Woody Allen, but it kept its own unique Bollywood charm.
