Gustaakh Ishq Teaser Shows Old-School Bollywood Romance

Fashion designer Manish Malhotra, known for his iconic bridal lehengas and red-carpet outfits, has now stepped into film production. He recently released the teaser for his upcoming movie Gustaakh Ishq, calling it “Kuch Pehle Jaisa” (Just Like Before). The film is directed by Vibhu Puri, produced by Manish and Dinesh Malhotra, and stars Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sharib Hashmi. The music is by Vishal Bhardwaj and the script is by Gulzar. The movie will hit theaters in November 2025.

Manish shared his excitement on Instagram, saying that he has loved cinema since childhood. He wrote that storytelling, emotions, and the magic of movies have always inspired him. “This November, my first film as a producer will release, and I can’t wait to share this dream with everyone,” he said.

The teaser has left fans excited. Many praised the music, saying, “Vishal Bhardwaj & Gulzar together again! The songs sound amazing.” Others loved the old-school Bollywood vibe, saying, “Bilkul kuch pehle jaisa!” Fans also appreciated Fatima Sana Shaikh’s casting, calling her performance outstanding.
