As the excitement reached fever pitch, fans breached security barriers, climbed structures, and engaged in unruly behavior. To control the situation, police were forced to resort to mild lathi-charge. Videos circulating on social media captured the frenzy, with fans throwing objects at security personnel.
Despite the chaos, the police maintained that the situation was under control. Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar, is slated for a December 5 release.
