The trailer of Aryan Khan’s debut Netflix web series The Ba*ds of Bollywood** is finally out. After teasing fans with a preview last month, the makers have now dropped a full trailer that promises fun one-liners, drama, and larger-than-life Bollywood moments.
The seven-episode series is produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. The trailer also surprises fans with cameos by Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, SS Rajamouli, Disha Patani, Badshah, and more.
The story follows Aasmaan Singh (played by Lakshya), a young man who dreams of becoming a Bollywood star. With support from his best friend Parvaiz (Raghav Juyal), his manager Sanya (Anya Singh), and his family — uncle Avtar (Manoj Pahwa), mother Neeta Singh (Mona Singh), and father Rajat Singh (Vijayant Kohli) — he enters the world of films.
But his journey is not easy. Aasmaan soon clashes with superstar Ajay Talvar (Bobby Deol) after being cast opposite his daughter Karishma (Sahher Bambba). The game changes further with clever producer Freddy Sodawallah (Manish Chaudhari) and comeback-seeking actor Jaraj Saxena (Rajat Bedi) in the picture.
The trailer also shows some hilarious cameos. Aamir Khan defends idly sambar over vada pav, while Shah Rukh Khan is mistaken for rapper Badshah, leaving him annoyed. There’s also a reunion glimpse of SRK, Salman, and Aamir together on screen.
The series will release on 18 September on Netflix. The music is by Shashwat Sachdev, with guest composers Anirudh Ravichander and Ujwal Gupta. The first track “Badli Si Hawa Hai” (sung by Arijit Singh and Amira Gill) is already out. Another song, “Tu Pehli Tu Aakhri”, also sung by Arijit Singh, adds to the album.
