Four months after facing backlash, Samay Raina’s YouTube show India’s Got Latent is back — but not on his main channel. The show, which was taken down earlier due to a controversy, has quietly returned on a new page called India’s Got Latent Clips.
Earlier this year, one episode of India’s Got Latent went viral for the wrong reasons. YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia made a controversial comment about a contestant’s parents. This led to public anger and legal issues. FIRs were filed against Ranveer, Samay Raina, Apoorva Mukhija, and Ashish Chanchlani.
Following the controversy, Samay deleted all episodes from his channel and said, “Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle… My only goal was to make people laugh.”
Now, the show is back, but the episodes are on a new channel. The India’s Got Latent Clips page now has over 500 videos, including public and members-only episodes. It has nearly 493K subscribers. Fans say the page was private earlier but has now been made public.
The return has sparked fan curiosity. Many are happy to see the content again and are asking Samay for new episodes.
