Four More Shots Please! Final Season To Address.
Prime Video’s popular show, Four More Shots Please! is coming back with its fourth and final season on December 19, three years after Season 3. The last season divided viewers, especially because of the infidelity storyline. New lead director Arunima Sharma says Season 4 will address those issues and give the show a meaningful ending.
Arunima shared that the team started shooting earlier this year and managed to release the season within the same year. The show stars Sayani Gupta, Bani J, Kirti Kulhari, and Maanvi Gagroo.
Arunima Sharma’s journey in films
A big Shah Rukh Khan fan, Arunima grew up loving Hindi cinema. She studied at FTII Pune, worked as an Associate Director with Homi Adajania on films like Cocktail and Finding Fanny, and won a National Award for her diploma film Shyam Raat Seher in 2010.
She also directed many ad films, including one with Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. Arunima says it was very hard to make feature films earlier, especially for women directors, but the OTT boom changed everything.
Directing Season 4 of FMSP
Arunima calls directing Season 4 a big responsibility. Her goal was to retain everything fans love about the show while enhancing its look and feel. She wanted the performances to feel more real and natural.
She promises that the final season will have more friendship, fun, drama, emotions, and joy. She describes it as a “season of joy,” where the women look inside themselves and try to fully embrace happiness.
Addressing the infidelity controversy
Season 3 faced criticism for depicting infidelity, particularly Damini’s affair with Jeh. Arunima says Season 4 will address this properly. She explains that the characters are allowed to make mistakes, just like real people, and reflection takes time.
