Aamir On Junaid: Skipped Acting, Slams Loveyapa

When star kids enter Bollywood, they often face trolling. Some prove their talent, while others are called “nepo kids”. Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan, started his film journey in 2024. His debut film Maharaj got a good response, and people liked his acting. But his second film Loveyapa, with Khushi Kapoor, received a lot of trolling.

In a podcast with Raj Shamani, Aamir Khan spoke about Loveyapa. He said, “I really liked the film and thought Junaid did a good job. His role was very different from his real-life personality. He has a special quality — he becomes the character.” But Aamir also added that the film faced heavy trolling and was pulled into the nepotism debate.

Aamir revealed that he never interferes in Junaid’s career and even discouraged him from learning acting formally. He wants Junaid to grow on his own and earn success.

Aamir also shared his feelings as a father. He said, “I used to be worried about my own film’s success or failure, but now I think more about Junaid’s career. I want him to be successful, happy, and get the respect he deserves.”

After Maharaj and Loveyapa, Junaid is now working on his third film Ek Din, which also stars Sai Pallavi and is produced by Aamir Khan.

We wish Junaid all the best!
