Bhagyashree Recalls Salman Supporting Her At Wedding

Bollywood actress Bhagyashree made her big debut with Salman Khan in Maine Pyar Kiya (1989). Their on-screen chemistry made the film a huge success. Soon after, Bhagyashree left films to get married to Himalaya Dasani.

In a recent interview, she shared how Salman was by her side during her wedding. As her parents did not support the marriage, the wedding was a quiet affair. Bhagyashree said, “There was no one from my side, and Salman stayed with me until the end. He was very naughty but very protective and lovable.”

She also praised Salman’s stardom, saying that the kind of fame he experienced is rare and similar to what Rajesh Khanna enjoyed in his time.

Bhagyashree and Himalaya now have two children, Abhimanyu Dasani and Avantika Dasani, both actors.

She will next be seen in Raja Shivaji, directed by Riteish Deshmukh, starring Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Genelia Deshmukh, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Fardeen Khan, releasing on 1 May 2026.
