Diljit On Pak response To Hania’s Casting In Sardaar Ji 3

The Punjabi movie Sardaar Ji 3 is in the spotlight, not just for its storyline, but also for casting Pakistani actress Hania Aamir as the lead. Because of this, the film wasn’t released in India and faced criticism.

Despite the backlash, Diljit Dosanjh shared videos on Instagram showing how well the film is doing in Pakistan. Theatres are full, and audiences are loving it. One post mentioned 12 shows running on Pakistan’s biggest screens. He also revealed the film has made ₹11.03 crore worldwide in just two days.

The controversy began after the Pahalgam attack, which led to an unwritten rule in India to not work with Pakistani actors. Many questioned why Hania was cast. Diljit responded by saying the movie was shot months before the attack and asked people to support art, not mix it with politics.

Meanwhile, some film bodies have asked the makers of Border 2 to remove Diljit from the film. Even director Imtiaz Ali was told to drop him from upcoming projects,
