Hema Malini: Dharmendra Is Alive And Recovering

Veteran actor Hema Malini has spoken out against the false news about her husband, Dharmendra’s health. Some reports wrongly claimed that the 89-year-old actor had passed away.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Hema Malini expressed her anger and disappointment, saying,

“What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is recovering? This is extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give our family some privacy.”

The rumours started spreading on Monday night and early Tuesday, worrying fans and people from the film industry. Soon after, the family clarified that Dharmendra is alive, stable, and recovering.

His daughter Esha Deol also posted on Instagram:

“The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for your prayers for Papa’s speedy recovery.”

Dharmendra is currently being treated at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital and is under close observation by doctors.

Both Hema and Esha have urged everyone to stop believing fake news and to respect their family’s privacy while Dharmendra continues to recover.
