Karisma Kapoor Shares Sunjay Kapur Tribute On His Birthday

Actor Karisma Kapoor shared a picture on Instagram as her children, Kiaan and Samaira Kapur, remembered their father, Sunjay Kapur, on his birthday. Sunjay passed away after allegedly suffering a heart attack while playing polo in London on June 12.

In the post, Karisma shared a photo of a cake with the words, “Happy Birthday, Dad,” along with a white heart emoji. Her sister, Kareena Kapoor, also shared the post and wrote, “My Samu and Kiu dad is protecting you always and forever ❤️.”

Earlier, Sunjay’s second wife, Priya Sachdev, also posted a tribute to him. She shared a photo and video of Sunjay with her and his children, along with a heartfelt note quoting the Bhagavad Gita. She wrote about his love and how his presence is still felt.

About Sunjay and Family
Sunjay Kapur was the chairman of Sona Comstar. He married Karisma in 2003, and they had two children: Samaira (2005) and Kiaan (2011). The couple divorced in 2016. Sunjay later married Priya Sachdev, and they had a son, Azarias.

Ongoing Legal Dispute
Currently, Karisma’s children are involved in a legal dispute over Sunjay’s inheritance. Samaira and Kiaan, with Karisma as their guardian, have accused Priya Sachdev of forging the will. They claim their father had promised them a share, which was missing from the final will. The case is ongoing in Delhi High Court.
