Tahir Raj Bhasin Felt Welcomed On Special Ops 2

Actor Tahir Raj Bhasin has joined the new season of the popular show Special Ops 2. He said it felt like he was the “new boy in school” because the rest of the team already knew each other. But everyone made him feel welcome and comfortable on set.

Tahir plays the role of a villain named “Collector,” who is both a gangster and a tech expert. He said, “It’s been almost 10 years since I played a negative role. I really enjoyed playing this character because he’s a rebel with a cause.”

Tahir first became famous for his role in Mardaani (2014) with Rani Mukerji. He has also worked in Chhichhore, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, and 83.

In Special Ops 2, the story follows Himmat Singh (played by Kay Kay Menon) as he fights cybercrime after an AI scientist is kidnapped at a tech event. The show also stars Karan Tacker, Vinay Pathak, and Muzammil Ibrahim. It released on JioHotstar on July 18.

Tahir added that joining a hit series in its second season was a challenge. He praised co-star Karan Tacker for being friendly and said spending time with Kay Kay Menon felt like meeting a senior in college—someone who has seen and understood more of life.
