Mukesh Khanna Slams Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana Look

Ranbir Kapoor is all set to play Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, but veteran actor Mukesh Khanna isn’t fully convinced. Known for his role as Bhishma Pitamah in Mahabharat, Mukesh says the teaser shows Ranbir climbing trees and shooting arrows—something he feels doesn’t suit the image of Maryada Purushottam Ram.

“Lord Ram was the ideal man, not a warrior like Krishna or Arjuna. If you show him as a warrior, people might not accept it,” Mukesh warned. He also said Ranbir’s intense Animal image could make it harder for audiences to see him as the calm and dignified Ram.

Despite his doubts, Mukesh admitted Ranbir is a good actor and could still surprise everyone.
