R Madhavan Stranded In Leh After Heavy Rains

Actor R Madhavan shared that he is stuck in Leh, Ladakh, because of heavy rains that have shut down the airport and cancelled flights. Taking to Instagram, Madhavan posted a short video showing snow-covered mountains and cloudy skies from his hotel room.
He explained, “It’s the end of August, and we already have snow on the mountain tops. I’m stuck in Leh because the airports have been closed for the last four days due to nonstop rain. Somehow, every time I come to Ladakh to shoot, this happens.”
Madhavan also recalled facing the same problem during the shoot of 3 Idiots in 2008. He said, “Back then, while shooting at Pangong Lake, it suddenly snowed in August, and we had to wait. And now, it’s happening again. Still, the place is breathtakingly beautiful. I just hope the skies clear so planes can land, and I can get back home.”
He captioned his clip, “Stuck in Leh again… No flights. Rain after 17 years.”
Meanwhile, due to bad weather, Leh Airport’s runway was closed on Wednesday, and flights were cancelled. Delhi Airport also issued an advisory warning passengers about the affected operations.
On the work front, Madhavan was last seen in Netflix’s Aap Jaisa Koi with Fatima Sana Shaikh. He will next appear in Dhurandhar, releasing on December 5, alongside Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal.
