Shashi Tharoor Denies Paid Praise For Aryan Khan’s Show
Shashi Tharoor recently shared his thoughts on Aryan Khan’s Netflix show The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, praising it as “absolute OTT gold.” But after posting his review, one social media user accused him of being paid for his words.
Tharoor didn’t ignore the comment. Instead, he gave a sharp reply, saying, “I’m not for sale, my friend. No opinion I express has ever been paid for by anybody, in cash or in kind.”
In his earlier post, Tharoor mentioned he was sick and took a break from work to watch the show. He called Aryan Khan’s directorial debut “fearless, witty, and brilliant,” adding that it’s one of the best things he has watched recently.
He also praised Shah Rukh Khan, saying, “From one father to another, you must be so proud.”
