Soha Ali Khan On Saif-Kareena Marriage Backlash

Soha Ali Khan opened up about the tough reactions her brother Saif Ali Khan and sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor faced when they got married. The couple got death threats and harsh criticism, but still went ahead with a private wedding in 2012.

Soha said her own interfaith marriage with Kunal Kemmu didn’t get as much negativity because she focused on support from loved ones.

She recalled the strange headlines at the time: “You took one of ours, now we’ll take one of yours.” Despite the hate, Saif stayed strong, remembering the struggles his parents faced during their interfaith marriage in the 1960s.
