AI Film Chiranjeevi Hanuman Announced, Motwane Reacts

A new movie called Chiranjeevi Hanuman – The Eternal has been announced. The special thing is that it will be made completely with Artificial Intelligence (AI). The film will release in theatres on Hanuman Jayanti 2026.

The story is based on the Ramayana and other old texts. More than 50 engineers, writers, and cultural experts are working together to make it. Even the music will be made by an AI band named Trilok, which mixes devotional and modern sounds.

But not everyone is happy. Director Vikramaditya Motwane shared his worry on Instagram. He wrote, “And so it begins… Who needs writers and directors when it’s ‘Made in AI’.” He feels AI might take jobs away from real writers and filmmakers.

The makers say their aim is to mix tradition with new technology and be open about how they use AI. They believe this new way of storytelling will connect with people.
