Special Ops 2 Delayed: New Release Date Revealed

The wait just got a little longer for fans of Special Ops. The second season, which was earlier set to release on 11 July, will now stream on 18 July on JioCinema.

Directed by Shivam Nair, the show marks the return of Kay Kay Menon as RAW officer Himmat Singh. This season focuses on a new kind of war—cyber terrorism. The enemies are not on the battlefield this time, but hidden in the digital world.

Kay Kay Menon shared a video on Instagram explaining that the delay was due to reasons beyond his control. But here’s the good news—all the episodes will release together!

In his words, “Himmat Singh is not your usual hero. He doesn’t chase fame—he carries responsibility. This season’s fights are silent but dangerous.”

The new season also stars Prakash Raj, Vinay Pathak, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Karan Tacker, Saiyami Kher, Muzammil Ibrahim, Gautami Kapoor, Parmeet Sethi, and Kali Prasad Mukherjee.
