“Border 2: Epic Return Of Sunny Deol & Star-Studded Action
Border 2 is an upcoming Hindi action war film directed by Anurag Singh. It is the sequel to the 1997 film Border and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J. P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. The film stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, along with Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, and Medha Rana.
The story follows Indian soldiers and their families, showing both war action and emotional drama. The movie celebrates courage and patriotism, similar to the original Border.

Filming:
Shooting started in early 2025 at Jhansi, Pune (NDA), Dehradun, Punjab, and other locations. The film includes large-scale action sequences and military training scenes.
Music:
The background score is by John Stewart Eduri. Songs are composed by Anu Malik, Mithoon, Vishal Mishra, Sachet–Parampara, and Gurmoh with lyrics by Javed Akhtar, Manoj Muntashir, Kumaar, and Kausar Munir. The first song, “Ghar Kab Aaoge”, is a remixed version of Sandese Aate Hai from the first Border film.
Release Date:
The film will release on 23 January 2026, during Republic Day weekend, with the tagline: “Hindustan ke liye ladenge… phir ek baar!”
