Dhurandhar Tops Hindi Box Office With ₹831 Cr
Dhurandhar continues its strong run at the box office and has created history once again. On Tuesday, the film crossed the Hindi box office collection of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rise and became the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.
According to the makers, Dhurandhar has earned ₹831 crore net in India so far.
On Wednesday, Jio Studios shared a new poster celebrating the achievement. The poster showed Ranveer Singh in a powerful look with the message, “Thank you India. Ganpati Bappa Morya.” The makers confirmed that the film reached this milestone in 33 days.
Earlier, Pushpa 2 held the record with a Hindi collection of ₹821 crore, which remained unbeaten until now. However, some trade experts claim that Dhurandhar’s actual collection is slightly lower and that it still needs around ₹40 crore to clearly beat Pushpa 2. Despite this, the makers have officially declared the film as the top Hindi grosser.
With this success, Dhurandhar has also set a new record for the highest collection by any Indian film in a single language. Other big Hindi earners include Chhaava (₹601 crore), Jawan (₹586 crore), and films like Pathaan, Animal, Gadar 2, Stree 2, and Baahubali 2.
About the Film
Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh as Hamza, an Indian spy who goes undercover to break terror networks in Karachi. The spy thriller is directed by Aditya Dhar and also features Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan in important roles.
The makers have already confirmed that Part 2 will release in March 2026.
