Son Of Sardaar 2 Day 4: Numbers Drop
Ajay Devgn’s comedy-drama Son of Sardaar 2 was released on August 1 and is facing strong competition at the box office. The film is doing slightly better than Dhadak 2, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, but it’s struggling to maintain steady collections.
Box Office Update
Son of Sardaar 2 had a good weekend, earning ₹24.75 crore in the first three days:
- Day 1: ₹7.25 crore
- Day 2: ₹8.25 crore
- Day 3: ₹9.25 crore
However, the movie saw a big drop on Monday (Day 4), earning only ₹2.50 crore. This brings the total collection to ₹27.25 crore.
Meanwhile, Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, continues to do well even after 18 days. It earned ₹1.82 crore on Monday, taking its total to ₹301.29 crore.
Film Story
In Son of Sardaar 2, Ajay Devgn plays Jassi, who goes to London when his wife (Neeru Bajwa) asks for a divorce. While dealing with heartbreak, he meets Rabia (Mrunal Thakur), who leads a girls’ wedding band. Rabia’s younger sister is in love but needs parents to impress the boy’s father (Ravi Kishan). Since the girls’ parents are no more, Jassi and Rabia pretend to be them, leading to fun, chaos, and emotions.
Audience Reaction
The movie got mixed reviews. While some didn’t enjoy the story, many liked the performances of Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, and Deepak Dobriyal for their comedy and timing.
