The Sandman Final Chapter Gets Release Date

The popular fantasy series The Sandman is returning for its final season on Netflix. Starring Tom Sturridge as Morpheus (aka Dream), the season will be released in two parts:

  • Volume 1 (6 episodes): July 3
  • Volume 2 (5 episodes): July 24

What’s the Story This Time?

Season 2 picks up shortly after the events of Season 1. Dream is trying to rebuild his kingdom, the Dreaming, after a long absence. But while he wants to move on, his past comes back to haunt him.
Expect new worlds, magical settings, and deeper emotions as Dream faces old enemies and family drama.

Returning and New Faces

Most of the original cast and crew are back. Joining them are new characters from the Endless family:

  • Delirium (Esmé Creed-Miles): quirky and lovable
  • Destiny (Adrian Lester): the wise oldest brother
  • The Prodigal (Barry Sloane): the long-lost sibling Dream hasn’t forgiven

Big Themes

This season explores how even the Endless (powerful beings like Dream, Death, and Desire) must deal with change. Dream must face the consequences of his actions and learn from his mistakes.
