AICWA Slams Mahira & Fawad, Seeks Ban

Pakistani actors Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan are facing fresh backlash in India after their comments on India’s Operation Sindoor. The All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has strongly criticized the actors and asked the Indian film industry to stop supporting Pakistani artists.
AICWA said in a statement that the remarks made by these actors were disrespectful to India and to the brave soldiers who lost their lives fighting terrorism. The association has now called for a strict and complete ban on all Pakistani artists, filmmakers, and financiers working in India.
According to AICWA, “This is not just about art—it’s about standing with the nation.” The association urged Indian artists not to work with any Pakistani talent or share platforms with them.
AICWA also appealed to Indian music companies to stop working with Pakistani singers and musicians. They added that many Indian artists still perform with Pakistani singers on international stages, which goes against national sentiment.
Fawad Khan recently shared a condolence message on Instagram, saying, “I pray for the souls of the deceased and strength for their families… May better sense prevail.
