Ajay On Diljit-Sardaar Ji 3: “His Own Problem”

Back in 2012, Ajay Devgn won hearts playing Jassi, a fun-loving Sardaar in Son Of Sardaar. His comic timing and chemistry with Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt made the film a big hit. Now, after 13 years, Ajay is back as Jassi — this time in Son Of Sardaar 2, set in Scotland, and paired with Mrunal Thakur.

At the trailer launch of the film, Ajay was asked about Diljit Dosanjh and the controversy around Sardaar Ji 3. Diljit was trolled online after his film’s trailer showed Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, and the movie was said to not release in India. People online felt Diljit was not supporting India.

Ajay responded by saying, “I don’t know the full details, or what’s right or wrong. He must have his own reasons. Others are reacting from their own point of view.”

He added, “When people have different views, they should sit and talk. I won’t blame anyone or say who’s right or wrong. A conversation is needed.”

Diljit will next appear in Border 2 with Varun Dhawan and Sunny Deol, while Son Of Sardaar 2 hits theatres on July 25.
