“Avantika Malik On Moving Past Resentment After Divorce”
Imran Khan started his acting career in 2008 with the movie Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na, supported by his uncle Aamir Khan. He became popular as a romantic hero. But his real-life love story began earlier when he was 19. After dating for 9 years, Imran married his girlfriend Avantika Malik. In 2014, they had a daughter named Imara. Everything seemed perfect until they separated in 2019. Avantika left the house with their daughter, and now they are co-parenting Imara.
Recently, Avantika spoke about how she managed to let go of the anger and resentment she felt after their divorce. She said she respects Imran as a father and appreciates how much he loves and cares for their daughter. This made it easier for her to forgive and move on. For her, being a good father to Imara was the most important thing.
When asked if they could be friends, Avantika said they are polite and civil but not friends yet. Maybe in the future, that could change.
Imran has not acted in movies recently. His last film was Katti Batti. Now, he is planning a comeback with a new project called Adhure Hum Adhure Tum, which will release on a digital platform.
