Param Sundari Box Office Day 4: Struggles To Hit ₹50 Cr

Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s film Param Sundari has faced a tough Monday at the box office. After a decent start, the movie saw a sharp fall in collections on its fourth day.
On Monday, the film earned just ₹3.50 crore in India, a big drop from over ₹10 crore the previous day. This brings its total domestic collection to ₹30.25 crore net (₹36.50 crore gross). Overseas too, the movie slowed down, making less than $1.5 million (around ₹12.50 crore). The worldwide total after four days now stands at ₹49 crore.
Made on a budget of ₹60 crore, the film still needs more earnings to break even. Not crossing ₹50 crore worldwide in four days is seen as a setback for the romantic comedy. It remains to be seen if the movie can improve during the weekdays.
About the Film
Directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Param Sundari also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Renji Panicker, Siddhartha Shankar, Manjot Singh, and Abhishek Banerjee. While the film has received praise for its music, it has faced criticism for its stereotypes about Kerala and Malayali culture.
