Sunny Deol On Dharmendra’s Health: ‘Please Respect Him’

Actor Sunny Deol has given an update about his father and veteran actor Dharmendra after he was discharged from a Mumbai hospital on Wednesday morning.

In a statement, Sunny said that Dharmendra will continue his recovery at home and requested everyone to respect the family’s privacy. He also thanked fans for their prayers and good wishes.

Sunny’s team released the statement saying,

“Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and public to avoid any speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy.”

They added,

“We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you.”

Sunny Deol was also spotted visiting his father at the hospital on Tuesday, after rumours about Dharmendra’s health spread online. The family — including Hema Malini and Esha Deol — later clarified that the actor is doing well and responding to treatment.

A doctor from Breach Candy Hospital confirmed that Dharmendra was discharged around 7:30 am and will continue treatment at home.

Dharmendra, one of India’s most loved actors, is recovering well, and fans across the country have been sending prayers and love for his speedy recovery.
